AI Tracking analyzes the motion of a subject you choose and automatically changes the scale and position of your layer to match every frame. Put the yellow tracking circle over your moving subject. Then, tap Start.

How to use AI Tracking

Six steps from video clip to tracking.

  1. Step 1

    Add your clip

    Open KineMaster. Tap Create New and add a video clip to your project.

  2. Step 2

    Add a sticker

    Tap Layer → Sticker and add a sticker. Or, visit the Asset Store to get more sticker packs.

  3. Step 3

    Place and time it

    Tap a sticker to add it to the Timeline. Use the yellow handles on the sticker layer to adjust how long it appears in your video.

  4. Step 4

    Add text (optional)

    If your sticker has text, tap Properties to change what it says.

  5. Step 5

    Open Tracking

    Tap Tracking. Then, position and resize the yellow circle over the subject you want to follow.

  6. Step 6

    Tap Start

    Tap Start. Now, the sticker follows your subject automatically.

AI Tracking works with all layer types — stickers, text, effects, media, and handwriting layers.

How do I set the tracking target?

Tap a layer to select it. Then, tap Tracking. A yellow circle will appear on the Preview screen. You can move and resize the yellow circle over the subject you want to follow. Tap Start to begin motion tracking analysis.

Can I track multiple subjects at the same time?

No. One layer can only have one Tracking target. To have multiple subjects tracked, each target will need to have a layer with Tracking applied.

Is AI Tracking free?

Yes. AI Tracking is free for all KineMaster editors.
