Frame by frame AI upscaling
Unlike sharpening filters, Super Resolution's AI model preserves actual texture and edge detail. Choose 2× for images and videos that are already shot at 720 or 1080p. Choose 4× for lower resolution source footage. All processing happens on your device. Your footage is never uploaded.

Super Resolution preserves texture and edge data. It doesn't add detail or texture that doesn't exist in the source. Super Resolution can't restore detail that isn't in the original.

Yes. Super Resolution is free for all KineMaster users. No subscription is required.
What is the difference between ×2 and ×4?
×2 doubles the resolution of a video or image. This is useful for footage that's already relatively high resolution. ×4 quadruples the resolution. Processing time is longer for footage that you apply ×4 upscaling to.
Does Super Resolution work on all video formats?
Super Resolution works on video clips added to the KineMaster Timeline. Supported formats follow KineMaster's general import specifications (.mp4 and .mov).
Is the footage uploaded to a server during processing?
No. All processing runs entirely on your device. Your footage is never sent to a server.
Will Super Resolution remove noise from my footage?
No. Super Resolution preserves how your footage looks at lower resolution. It doesn't add imaginary details or fake textures that don't exist in the original video or image.
