From channel branding to cinematic grades, match real editing workflows with Filter and Adjustment.

Consistent channel style

Apply the same Filter to every video and image in a project to build a recognizable visual aesthetic without manually changing each clip individually.

Cinematic color

Use Color Adjustment to pull down saturation, shift temperature toward cool blue, and raise contrast for a cinematic flat-to-grade look.

Apply a Filter & fine-tune

Apply a Vintage filter for a warm tone, then open Adjustment to boost contrast and correct any areas the filter affected. Try layering both tools for a polished result.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Filter and Adjustment.

What is the difference between Filter and Adjustment?

Filter applies a stylized color preset with an intensity slider. Adjustment gives manual control over 11 individual parameters. Both can be used on the same clip at the same time.

Which is best: Filter or Adjustment?

Filters are faster for a consistent look. Adjustment is better when you need to correct specific exposure or color issues, or build a precise custom aesthetic. Most editors use both: a Filter for the overall mood, and Adjustment to fine-tune.

Can I apply Filter or Adjustment from one clip to all others?

Yes. You can use the Apply to all button to apply your Filter or Adjustment to all other media in your project.

Are Filter and Adjustment non-destructive?

Yes. Both tools are applied on top of the original clip and can be reset or removed at any time.
